The End Of Summer.....

A few weeks ago, we made a little trip down the coast with some friends to enjoy a lovely Beach day in what had become a fading Summer. It was a little cloudy, but just gorgeous! And we were lucky enough to see some beautiful Dolphins swim past close to Shore...........just lovely!

All the Kid's had a great day swimming, jumping off a sand hill and lazing in the Sun that came and went!

The bottom picture in this post is of some beautiful bread that Olivia has been making over the last couple of Weekends......delish.....

Autumn Window for Suede Vintage

Last week Lauren and I put together a lovely Autmn Window display at Suede Vintage! It really feels like Autumn has arrived!! Lauren made beautiful paper decorations out of old book pages, and I made some sweet fabric and Autumn leaf garlands.....

Together with some sweet old suitcases, gorgeous tea cups(that Lauren searched for, and are for sale) and Oh So Sweet vintage book stacks(again Lauren), the Store is looking rather gorgeous!
To top it all off, many new Vintage pieces have arrived including boots, bags, dresses and a few winterish pieces!

Sewing Projects......

Well I haven't done much sewing recently as my sewing machine was playing up!! I think the problem is now solved, so I can get onto making more sweet bunting, purses ans belts and whatever else I'm inspired to make!!
I'll be popping some more things in Suede Vintage(in Thirroul) and Milk Thieves(in Wollongong), and of course making some extras to put aside for gift giving!!
I've gathered together some vintage and new fabrics, in some gorgeous prints and colours....

Also stay tuned as Lauren and I are putting together a new Autumn/Winter Window display for Suede Vintage next week....think old books, suitcases, paper decorations, warm colours...will post up some sweet photos when we're finished!

A Little Sydney trip....

Yesturday My lovely Hubby and My Daughter's Juliet and Beth headed up on the Train to enjoy a day in Sydney! It was truely perfect Weather, and even though our intentions were to go and see the Harry potter Exhibition (this being postponed til next w/e due to forgetting to book...oops), we still had a lovely time wandering around Darling Harbour, enjoying coffee, hot chocolate and delicous macaroons and the new play area with giant slide, flying fox and water play!

Because Olivia was swamped in homework she didn't come along....but we've now booked in for ALL of us to see the Harry Potter Ehitbiton next Sunday...F-U-N xxxxx
