A Visit to Country Town "Boorowa" while staying with my Mum and Dad......

Last week Juliet and Olivia caught the XPT down to their Nan and Pops(my mum and dad's) in Harden- Country NSW..... Andrew, Beth and I followed a couple of days later, and we all spent Australia day together........especially enjoying a swim in the town pool(all the nicer as we knew it was raining at home)...we had a lovely and relaxing time. The girls again rode the old ride on around and collected eggs from the lovely chooks!

On the Friday we went for a drive to a town nearby called Boorowa..... My Mum had recently been over and discovered a gorgeous cafe called "Pantry On Pudman".....so we went there to enjoy yummy coffee and cake and admire all the vintage furniture and bits and bobs that are also for sale...........it was delighful.....we had a wander around the shops, thifting some sweet things from the Vinnies, and also finding a few little pieces in the Antique store.........

The Making of Liv and Jules New Room.............

Ok, so when I say we're doing less renovating this year.....I think I might mean later this year! LOl! We just completed Liv and Jules "Teenage Retreat" Yesturday........and I'm happy to say it looks Pretty Fantastic!
(alothough other parts of the house full of boxes etc are now looking rather messy, and today I'm at work thinking about all the re-organising and cleaning up I need to do!! But I'm really looking forward to puting the dining room together).

Well, I took a few pics along the way, and some of the "finished" room last night and this morning..........It was a really big room to paint, but so worth it for the fresh results!!

The girls put in Alot of work themselves, helped along by Andrew and I. Again Super Hubby Andrew was amazing(with the tools, putting the door on, moving the ladder when I was painting, moving heavy pieces of furniture etc). All in all another fab team effort! And thanku Beth for entertaining yourself all weekend with dressing up, playing schools, rip sticking, bike riding........


It's hard to see from the pictures, but the big room is now divied into Jules sleep/study area, lounge/tv in the middle space and Liv's sleep/study space..........

Amy's 21st, Plus A Little inspiration.....

The School Holidays have been lovely AND Busy so far! With a multitude of beach/park outings and catch ups with Family and Friends! I also had the joy of going to a gorgeous Friend's "1950's Tea Party" 21st on Saturday...........Amy.........It was perfectly sweet with awesome music from the birthday girl's DJ friends!

Amy, being super sweet as ever wore two different dresses throughout the evening..........It was a joyful event, and made me think how proud I'll be when my girls reach such a "grown up" age.......

A Day Trip to Berry and Gerringong....

Last week My Family and I headed off for a little day trip to enjoy what Berry and Gerringong have to offer...........So a little shopping, coffee and milkshakes, and a Yummy Lunch were had!

We were totally delighted with Vintage Store- Nefarious Rabbit in Berry, and left with a couple of gorgeous little dresses. Haven and Space was another favourite...suitable for "everyone's" budget!

We had the good luck of parking near Lisa Madigan's new store in Berry.........This store is gorgeous, and we all found some goodies to buy......can't wait to visit again!

Part 1

Beth's New Room

Last week while I was at Work, My lovely Family started the pack up, sort out, re-arrange.....which will see the last "big" part of our renovations complete! Beth has only had a "portion" of a room as a bedroom for the past Year, but has now moved into what was Juliet's Room. I have added photos below....Mainly Olivia and Juliet are to thank for the set up of this lovely room!!

Now, what was until recently part studio/part Beth's room is on it's way to becoming a Large "Teenage" retreat for Liv and Juliet....complete with seperate sleeping zones and a mini living area in the centre with couch/T.V...I will post progress photos soon....

So! That leaves what will soon be Liv's "old" bedroom..........I'm very excited as this will be our NEW Dining room.........and stuio/study..............Looking forward to setting up this lovely little room...........it's straight off the Kitchen, and it will be a joy to have a dining room again......I'll have to draw up a little floorplan of our House!!

Mini Photo Shoot

We recently babysat two sweet little Rabbits, Beth became attached to "Cutie Pie", and suggested we do a little photo shoot with Her and The Little Rabbit.........Sweetxxxx



New Years Eve...

We had our Nieces with us for New Years Eve, so we decided to go out to Dinner- We enjoyed a gogeous meal and atmosphere at Lee And Me in Wollongong...........Their Summer Nights Menu has a delicious selection of meals....YUM!

Of course we all took lots of photos, so you will find some lovely collaged shots below.........

 After our Yummy Dinner we headed home to enjoy the balmy eve watching the Fireworks on T.V(and a few in our street!), sparklers, and a little Mini Pavolva Dessert!!

So! Now here we are at the beginning of 2012....AND I think it's going to be another great year, perhaps even a little less chaotic with most of our renos finished!! Juliet is starting Highschool, Liv going into Year 9 and Beth into Year 3...........I'm hoping to start training as a yoga teacher(slowly)-Finding the perfect balance between designer/shop girl and Yogi......And Andrew and I have a little Bali trip planned for our 15th Wedding Anniversary! <3
