It's Melbourne cup!!!

Well it's the Melbourne cup today.......And I get to close Suede Vintage at 1pm:).....So I'm super happy....as you may know my family and I have been getting stuck into our renos, and today I'm having a little Melbourne Cup lunch in the Fabulous new "Ivy Bar" (covered area in the backyard) anyway here's some photos of it all looking seriously pretty, I'll take some more during our get together and upload in the next couple of days.......... I Heart Yellow!

I have discovered recently that I really like the colour yellow! I've bought a yellow bike, necklace, dress and bed spread :) It's such a bright, happy colour that I'm quickly becoming obsessed with.... I do try to limit it a little....

Etsy Shop

I'm in the process of setting up shop on Etsy!!! If you want to have a look you can click here or look to the right for my new shop "button".....Theres nothing for sale on there yet...but there will be in the next week or so!! Bunting, paper garlands, purses,printed singlets and the odd vintage item here and there will be for sale!! My Sister Lauren and I will also be selling all sorts of these type of goodies in Suede Vintage leading up to Christmas <3

Mini Bathroom project....

It was a lovely weekend. I got to see my Mum and Dad on their way back from Adelaide, I went to see Pete Murray with my Hubby, I got to eat brunch at a new little Cafe in Thirroul- Called Blue Water Cafe(yum).

 And we managed to get started on a few little projects!! The main one I worked on was this little storage area in the bathroom. We already had the little drawers, and I just painted them white! I found the baskets at Officeworks and House to Home. The large white one in the centre is being used as a shelf and will contain rolled up guest/spare towels. And the other baskets are for everyones shower products and cleaning products. I also added some pretty flowers to the vanity......

I'm really happy with this little project, as I'd been wanting to do it for quite a whilexxxxx

Arab Street- Singapore

Singapore was the second half of our holiday! My Brother in law- Sam and family (Margie, Hannah and Lily) live there, and have done for almost four years. We really enjoyed our time there- Swimming in the pool, the Zoo, Universal Studios, SHOPPING!!


We went to a gorgeous little part of town- Arab Street- It was really arty, creative and "old Singapore"- I loved it! We ate at a lovely Turkish Restaurant and looked around the shops.....
