How to make...... A Paper/fabric heart Garland

Paper/fabric heart garlands make a beautiful decoration for your home, or a perfect little gift for someone you heart!!

Start with some recycled "fairy Tale" paper, lace or other fabric, a little heart template and scissors....

A sewing machine is also handy, although if you have the patience you could sew by hand with a needle and thread!

Trace "hearts" onto paper and cut out...

You now have some sweet paper hearts!

Use the template again, and either pin to the fabric and cut around, or trace on if you can!

You now have some sweet Fabric hearts...

Gather all your sweet hearts together,

...And sew all together on the sewing machine!!

Hang your gorgeous garland in your chosen spot, and stand back and admire!!

A few more photos of the lounge room!!!

Well these are the photos taken on my little digital camera, thought I'd upload them aswell....

A Few Photos of our "fresh" Lounge Room...

Here a few photos taken on my phone of our lounge room after it's little re-vamp!! I will also post some from my camera, but alas the photos hadn't finished loading to the Mac before I had to leave for work!! Anyway you'll get a bit of an idea from these photos!!

I made lots of new cushions for the couches, in lovely prints I managed to find in Spotlight, they're a gorgeous selection of floral prints in greys, greens and mustard. I also had some others that worked in with the look, especially the two with the lovely big turquoise flowers!!

I found a fabulous high pile rug in a natural colour after my girls and I spent the afternoon looking through various shops! We were lucky enough to find this one at Fantastic furniture for a bargain price....

Also while I was at work one day during the school holidays, my sweet husband and daughters cleaned out, reorganised and moved around the furniture the way I had wanted!! So Yay, and thanku lovelies!!

So anyway, it was a good little project that really lifts the room!

One project down....who knows how many more to go.....:)
