Sunday was a beautiful day..... So we were finally able to get back in the garden! Because of our renovations, our garden became almost non existent! All we had left was our lovely tree, two roses and some agapanthus!
A few weeks prior, my lovely hubby built a raised veggie/fruit patch, and prepared the new flower garden, with a little help from myself and our daughters. We also bought some plants, and then just waited as it rained for a couple of weeks!!
So finally we have some lovely plants in the flower garden- including a Camellia, Daisies, Geraniums and Violets. I have ordered four roses and I can't wait to plant them when they arrive! We also planted some strawberry plants, a raspberry plant, lots of leeks, a blueberry plant, a couple of lettuces and some carrots in the veggie/fruit patch.
I have ordered a Ballerina Apple which I'm going to plant in a large pot, and put on our lovely sunny deck(which doesn't quite exist yet, lol), and I'm also looking for a dwarf lemon tree to do the same with.
So all in all, it was quite a perfect Sunday, even our Rabbit 'Flopsy' was out to enjoy the new garden!!
